Durango was a wonderful opportunity to make a lot of varied work. There are cups, mugs, plates, bowls, and vases, and the common theme of this gallery is their firing. All of these pieces were fired in Lorna Meadon’s Bourry Box wood/soda kiln. We heated the kiln with gas overnight before stoking with wood for a day and spraying soda
